Expecting
Synopsis
In the maternity ward, Céline awaits the arrival of her first child. It is Jeanne, her partner, who will bring her into the world. At night, in the entrance hall of the hospital, she meets men who are waiting, like herself.

About
Alice Douard
After studying art history, Alice Douard joined the Fémis in the directing department. Her graduation film, "Extrasystole", was bought by Arte and was selected in many festivals such as Clermont-Ferrand, Angers or Pantin. She then directed two other short films, "Les Filles" and "Plein Ouest", which explore themes that are dear to her: femininity, the search for an identity within a group, family relationships. In 2017, Arte entrusted her with the direction of a unit, "Robin". In parallel, Alice Douard works as a scriptwriter on short and feature films. "L'attente" is her fourth short film.
