Synopsis

About

Mathieu Z'Graggen

Trained as a sound editor, Mathieu Z'Graggen has been working for several years in the post-production of short films, feature films and documentaries. He made his first experiences as a director by participating in the Strasbourg Video Marathon, an event during which one must write and direct a film of less than 5 minutes in 48 hours. It is by winning, two years in a row, the Prize of the realization and the Prize of the public, that he meets the Strasbourg collective La Cite De La Prod with whom he will collaborate on several projects of video clips. In 2014, he directed his first short fiction film "Think Big" produced by ALPAGA FILMS (Ex - Sous les pavés la prod). The film won the Grand Jury Prize at the Premiers Plans festival in Angers and was selected for the in national competition at the Clermont-Ferrand festival before being bought by Canal+ for broadcast in September 2015. In 2016 he directed a medium-length film entitled "Iceberg" produced by ALPAGA films & INNERVISION. The film was selected in national competition at the Locarno Film Festival and in international competition at the medium-length film festival La Cabina in Spain before receiving the
quality award from the CNC. In 2021, he works on the writing of his first feature film and directs his third short film, "Fatum".
