Sikiitu
Synopsis
Ali, a 15-year-old Inuit boy, lives in Ivujivik, the northernmost village in the province of Quebec, Canada. With his gaze immersed in the vastness of the Arctic, Ali only dreams of one thing: to make hip hop like his idol, the famous American rapper Rich E. Murdoch. But day in and day out, Ali's dad continues to take him out hunting with his battered old snowmobile constantly breaking down. The gap between father and son deepens as Ali's demeanor darkens and as a mysterious graffiti appears in the village. The snowmobile breaks down once too often. It will have to pay for all of Ali's woes.
