Synopsis
A man gives a political speech. As he speaks, his true identity is revealed. A homeless man, who lives in the Parisian subway. Haunted by his past, former leader of a conquering party, his field of action is now limited to the underground world, a place where he only collects a few coins everyday…

Mohammad Hijazi
"Mohammad Hijazi grew up in Syria, in the artistic atmosphere of his
family. At a very young age he mastered all the stages of cartoon making.
In 2011, he chooses to support the revolution. He carries out many
artistic works in solidarity with civil society. He was arrested and
released after a few months in prison. He leaves Syria and travels in
several countries before settling in France. He refuses to be considered
by the artistic world as a Syrian refugee, but above all as an artist.
The Speech is his first fiction film."
