A devoted sister races to save her brother, a bread-turned zombie. A mob of hungry living pursues, mouths agape. Streets twist into mazes, reason crumbles. Can love defy appetite?

Alex Boya
Alex Boya holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Film Production from Concordia University's Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema. The Bulgarian-born Montreal animator and filmmaker is passionate about hand-drawn, surreal narratives. At the NFB, he directed Focus (2014) and Turbine (2018), which received Special Mentions at the Ottawa International Animation Festival. Turbine also won Best Animated Short at the New York Shorts Festival. With Bread Will Walk, he continues to create worlds where poetry, technology, and the absurd intertwine.
