About
Amélie Bonnin
Artistic director of La Déferlante magazine and the Radio live project, and director of several television documentaries (La Mélodie du boucher, 2012, and La Bande des Français, 2017), Amélie combines her skills as a graphic designer, draughtswoman, author and video artist to bring her projects to fruition. In 2021, she directed her first short film, Partir un jour, which won numerous awards, including the César for best short film in 2023. For her first feature film, she has chosen to reinvent this short and re-explore its various facets - family, sentimental and musical.
