Synopsis
Mohammed, a young Palestinian, is desperately looking for a taxi to take him through a checkpoint to meet his mother, who is waiting for him on the Israeli side. At the checkpoint, the driver Farouk discovers that Mohammed already failed to cross the border. The trouble begins...

Mohammed Almughanni
Director, scriptwriter and cinematographer Mohammed Almughanni was born in Gaza (Palestine) in 1994. He studied directing at the National Film School in Łódź (Poland). In recent years he has worked on numerous films in Cuba, Palestine, Denmark, China, Jordan, Lebanon, Poland and Germany. His fiction and documentary work includes An Orange from Jaffa (2023), Blacklisted (2021), Son Of The Streets (2020) Falafala (2019), Operation (2018), Where's the Donkey (2018), Shujayya (2015) and Halawan (2012). His films have been selected and awarded at numerous festivals around the world.
