Synopsis
A free interpretation of “The Metamorphosis” by Franz Kafka. Grégoire Samsa is a solitary young man, building caretaker, always ready to help everyone, in order to exist. Scorned, even by his adoptive mother, Grégoire will begin an uncontrolled mutation... COLEOPTERE is a fantastic fable about the physical and psychological metamorphosis of a young man without history who seeks to be loved.

"Coléoptère", loosely based on Franz Kafka's "La Métamorphose", is Martin's (29) first short film written and directed within a produced and financed framework. At the same time, Martin worked for 5 years at Orange Studio, the Orange Group's cinema subsidiary involved in the co-production, acquisition, distribution and international sale of films. He joined Studiocanal in 2024.
