Essling
Synopsis
South of France. Adrien, a pool fitter, is installing a shutter for a big customer: Vincent, a sixty-year-old who is drowning his wife's departure in pastis, xenophobia and love for his dog Essling. But that day, the little blue dog from Gascony disappears. Driven by madness, Vincent embarks Adrien on a crazy search, looking for a scapegoat.

François Bierry
François Bierry was born in 1981. After studying law in Strasbourg, he enrolled at the IAD (Institut des Arts de Diffusion) in Belgium. A screenwriter and director for Belgian television, he directed his first short film, Solo Rex, in 2014. The film was a great success at festivals, where it won numerous awards. He is currently developing his first feature-length fiction film: Seuls les poissons…
Thomas Van Zuylen
A graduate of the Institut des Arts de Diffusion, he began his studies in 'direct cinema' under the guidance of Manu Bonmariage. After completing his studies, he directed "Prime Minister or Nothing" (52 minutes), a striptease-style documentary about the participation of Belgium's leading declining party in the legislative elections.
