Synopsis
A young advertising director tells us about his trip to the Ardennes, where the 24h d'Endurance Tondeuses takes place. In search of the event's young hopeful, he hopes to turn his film into his very own local Formula 1. His urban naiveté soon comes up against the reality of a world he doesn't really understand…

Elliot Totzauer and Emma Sandona
Rose Duel is a French writer-director duo formed by Emma Sandona and Elliot Totzauer. They met at film school and had an obvious dislike for each other. Rumour has it that she thought he was a bad dresser and that he was bothered by her perfume. We'll never really know. But they couldn't leave each other's side. Two people who love each other, but who have nothing in common.
Emma joined the CEEA to become a writer of fiction ranging from series to feature films (and was able to change her perfume). Elliot became an AD, spending countless sleepless nights working for some of the biggest names in international advertising (and now has the right refs for dressing himself). Each armed with their own unique know-how, they came together to form a directorial duo with thunderous ambitions. All that was missing was a producer crazy enough to bet on them: Hugo Legrand-Nathan.
Duo but also Duel, they push each other in search of the brilliant idea, navigating between comedy and emotion with tenderness as their common denominator. And always with style.
