Simon Chouinard
After completing his post-graduate studies in cinema, Simon Chouinard decided to put his academic experience into practice by developing his first short-film project outside the confines of university. Undaunted by the difficulties he encountered in his quest for support from cultural institutions, the young director preferred to take matters into his own hands and finance his work himself. This ambition led to the creation of “Unclean”, a psychological thriller that premiered at the REGARD festival and returned to the big screen at Rendez-vous Québec Cinéma.
