Talents en court Normandie
The Talents en Court system aims to identify and support young talents with identified artistic potential but distanced from the professional network for social and/or geographical reasons. This openness towards new creators is essential to the renewal and diversity of talents for the entire cinema and audiovisual sector.
In Normandy, the system is coordinated by Studio Off-Courts, in collaboration with CECI-Moulin d’Andé and Normandie Images; with the support of the Normandy Region and the National Center for Cinema and Animated Images (CNC).
Talent en court, what is it ?
Have you already made self-produced short films and want to professionalize?
You have no training and/or professional experience in the cinema sector?
We offer you a year of writing, workshops and meetings with professionals to help you with your short film project.
The objective is to end up writing your short film script which can be presented to producers.
The program from September 2026 to September 2027:
- 1 week at the Off-courts festival (workshops, meetings, screenings, etc.)
- 2 writing residencies over a weekend and 8 consultations with a referring screenwriter
- 1 weekend of actor directing workshops with a dedicated director
- 1 meeting, discussion and feedback time with producers on your scenario
How to submit ?
Registration conditions:
- Residing in Normandy
- Have a story idea for a short film
- Be very motivated to write a screenplay and work with professionals
- Be fully available from September 5 to 11, 2026 and a few weekends during the year
- Have already made a self-produced film (all genres combined)
- Not having professional cinema experience
- No age limit! Anyone can apply, from 18 years old.
Directors are advised to register as soon as possible. The seats are limited.
