Bernhard Wenger was born 1992 in Salzburg, Austria. After graduating high school he moved to Vienna, where he studied flm theory and gained professional set experience. He was accepted to the Vienna Film Academy in 2014, where he studies directing.Bernhard's last short flms have been screened at prestigious flm festivals like Sarajevo Film Festival, Palm Springs Film Festival, Leuven Film Festival, Vienna Shorts, Nashville Film Festival, Hollyshorts Film Festival, Uppsala Film Festival, Odense Film Festival, etc. He has won over 90 international awards and in 2015, received the Award for Art and Culture in his hometown.
His doc "Keeping Balance" was Vimeo Staff Picked in 2017 and 2018 his short "Exit Right" went viral on facebook with more then 12mio views in total.
His last short flm "Excuse Me, I'm Looking For The Ping-Pong Room And My Girlfriend" premiered 2018 at the Moscow Int. Film
Festival, won the Max Ophüls Award, as well as both short film awards at the Diagonale – Festival of Austrian Film.
