Synopsis
Dog and Mirales are childhood friends. They live in a small village in the south of France and spend most of their days hanging out in the streets. To kill time, Mirales has taken to teasing Dog more than he should. Their friendship is put to the test by the arrival in the village of a young girl, Elsa, with whom Dog is about to fall in love. Riddled with jealousy, Mirales has to let go of his past in order to grow up and find his place.

About
Jean-Baptiste Durand
Born in 1985, he studied at the Ecole Supérieure des Beaux Arts de Montpellier, graduating with honors in 2010. Initially interested in painting and drawing, his work evolved towards feature films. On leaving school, he worked for a time as a technician on films, before directing a number of music videos and documentaries. He has written and directed several short films, selected and awarded at numerous festivals. His first feature film, "Chien de la casse", was released on April 19, 2023. For this film, Jean-Baptiste Durand was awarded the first Pierre Chevalier prize. Alongside his work as a writer/director, Jean-Baptiste Durand teaches at various schools and writing workshops (Groupe Ouest, Passerelle Occitanie, Travelling, le Plateau, Cie Maritime...). He has also collaborated on the writing of several short and feature-length films.
