Fake it till you make it

Laura Petrone & Guillaume Kerbusch are a couple of young Belgian directors and actors. Their first short film "Seul avec elle" was selected for several Belgian and international festivals. They are also producers of "La belge collection", a collection of 4 short films designed to showcase young actors. As part of this project, they made their second short film, "Rien lâcher".
They have also set up the Brussels Ciné Studio, where they organize on-camera acting courses designed to put filmmakers and actors in touch with each other, bringing together over 150 young artists a year.
They are also active in theater for young audiences. They have directed and written several shows for teenagers, which have been seen by over 100,000 young spectators. Their company is in residence at Théâtre Varia, Brussels' drama center.
As an actress, Laura plays the lead roles in "Jimmy n'est plus là" (which won the Prix Maeterlinck 2020 de la critique), and which won two prizes at the Rencontres jeune public de Huy, including "Coup de coeur de la presse" and "Prix de la ministre de la culture". She also plays in the children's play "Brandon", currently on tour. Her film credits include the RTBF series "Baraki" and the French series "L'opéra" produced by OCS.
As an actor, Guillaume first came to public attention with his starring role in the Belgian series "La trêve", broadcast on France 2 and Netflix worldwide. He then took part in the Talents Adami Cannes 2018, in Charlotte Le Bon's film "Judith Hotel". He also acts in English, notably in "Kursk" by Danish director, Thomas Vinterberg. They have two feature film projects together: the feature version of "Rien lâcher", which is currently being written, and "Jimmy n'est plus là", currently in development.
