This exploratory work on Jean-Claude Lauzon, the mythical and promising black sheep of Quebec cinema (Night Zoo- 1987 and Leolo - 1992), takes us on the incredible psychoanalytical journey of the relationship between a father and his son.

About
Marie-Josée Saint-Pierre
In 2004, Marie-Josée Saint-Pierre founded the independent company MJSTP Films Inc., producing her own films at the crossroads of documentary and animation. In the course of her original creations, two main themes emerge: maternity, which she has tackled in "Post-Partum" (2004), "Passages" (2008) and "Femelles" (2012), and artistic creation, which is at the heart of "McLaren's Negatives" (2006), "Le projet Sapporo" (2009), "Jutra" (2014), "Flocons" (2014) and finally "Oscar" (2016). Over the course of her career, her cinematographic work has won over 55 international awards, including two Jutras, a Gémeau and a Canadian Screen Award. A graduate of Concordia University, she is a doctoral student in arts studies and practices at UQÀM, and her thesis focuses on the creative conditions of Canadian women animators (1940-2015).
