Synopsis

With "Les Chants de la Maladrerie", Flavie Pinatel paints a portrait of a surprisingly shaped housing project (La Maladrerie in Aubervilliers) and its inhabitants. It's a special kind of documentary, since the people express themselves not by speaking, but through songs. The film provides a poetic overview of living together in France in 2016.
