Synopsis
The eternal August 15th picnic on Callot Island. But this year, Paul, his family and their friends find themselves trapped by the tide. Paul, caught between the world of adults and that of children, becomes aware of his own individuality.

Mathilde Bédouet
Mathilde Bédouet is a young animation director and illustrator. A graduate of the Arts Décoratifs de Paris, she soon found her preferred technique: rotoscoping in traditional colored pencil animation. She has directed a number of music videos, and "Summer 96" is her first short film.
