Here, we’re serving up some racy pop-culture-filled questions, with a taste of improbable castings and explosive cliffhangers on a TV set. The producer and film crew of short film Luminia will share their feedback on the production of this ambitious short film, shot in a virtual studio. This conference will cover the creative, technical, and logistical aspects, with a focus on the concrete gains observed in terms of budget reduction, flexibility, and efficiency. From preparation to filming, including virtual set management and collaboration between departments, the team will review the choices that made it possible to maximize the on-screen rendering while controlling costs.

Five Normandy productions, selected by Off-Courts and Normandie Images, will have the opportunity to present their line-ups to TV broadcasters.

Synopsis: A young woman passionate about rowing joins a prestigious team as a coxswain just weeks before an important competition. But captivated by the rowers, she lets her dreams transform into a single obsession: to become one of them.

The film is supported and hosted by the Normandy Region, in partnership with the CNC (National Center for the National Center for Rowing) and in association with Normandie Images.

Activity designed in the form of successive presentations by acquisition managers (television channels, VOD platforms, theater distributors) followed by a brief question and answer session.

The official closing ceremony of the festival will begin with a live Critics’ Award debate in the Salon des Gouverneurs. Hosted by Claude Duty, this discussion promises to be lively and dynamic, and will reveal the first winner of this awards ceremony for the 25th edition of the festival.
