Synopsis
A Palestinian surgeon drives home after a long night shift, but little does she know that a commute through a desolate West Bank road will change her forever.

Said Zagha
Said Zagha graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English and Film from Kenyon College (Ohio) in 2011. His first narrative short film, Five Boys and a Wheel (2016), features the renowned Palestinian actor Ali Suliman. It was shot in Aqaba, Jordan, with the support of the Royal Film Commission and private Palestinian contributions. The film premiered at the Dubai International Film Festival, after which it was screened at more than 35 festivals around the world. It is distributed by MAD Solutions and has won top prizes at festivals in Mexico, Algeria and Oman. With the support of the Palestinian Ministry of Culture and Al-Mawred Al-Thaqafi, Said has just completed his next short film, Lovesick in the West Bank. He is currently developing his first feature film, Weedestine, which has taken part in the development programme of the Mediterranean Film Institute, the Med Film Factory, the DFI Producers’ Lab and Chabaka at the Carthage Film Festival.
