Man’mi
Synopsis
The roar of a river and the scream of a great hornbill echoing through a tropical forest… Flora, a six-year-old mixed-race girl, is telling herself a story. Suddenly, the voice of her mother, Hortense, brings her back to reality. To their reality: a modest life, full of tenderness and joyful moments shared with her Baoulé aunts. Yet an imperceptible shadow hangs over their happiness… The suffering of Hortense, who has a genetic disease, insidiously creeps into their daily lives.
