Prom Night Diary
Synopsis
It’s finally time for the prom! Aurore had dreamed of going with Nathan, the captain of the basketball team, but it was doomed from the start. Luckily, she has Melanie, her best friend, who didn’t get invited either. The problem is, there are monsters at the prom too. This summer, which was supposed to mark the end of high school, will be darker than expected.

Basile Khatir
Trained as an optical engineer, Basile turned to filmmaking while still in school and working full-time, before directing his first animated short film: I Swallowed a Caterpillar, which was selected for around a hundred festivals this year (Clermont-Ferrand, Premiers Plans Angers, Off-Courts Trouville, Palm Springs, Animafest, Namur, and others). Prom Night Diary, produced by La Petite Prod in co-production with Arte, is his second short film. At the same time, he is writing his next live-action film.
