Synopsis
Surrounded by his best friends for a bachelor party at the family vacation home, Sami runs into a childhood friend who accuses him of abusing her a few years earlier. Throughout the weekend, Sami navigates his own conscience, sometimes misguided, sometimes pushed around by his friends. To recognize the truth, he will have to break through and abandon his shell.

Maïa Descamps
Born in 1991 in Lille, France, Maïa Descamps earned a master’s degree in filmmaking from the Institut des Arts de Diffusion (I.A.D.) in 2015 with her graduation film D’homme à homme. After graduating, she worked on various TV series projects for RTBF as a co-screenwriter or consultant. She directed her second short film, Les huîtres, in 2022; it won multiple awards and was nominated for the 2023 Magritte Awards. She is currently writing her first feature film, which has received a writing grant. She is also developing a series. The Lobsters is her third short film.
