Synopsis
Dan has a gaping hole in his neck that won't heal. Why? He can't remember, nor talk about it. Back in the sinister arena of his childhood, he must find the part of himself he once left behind that prevents him, now an adult, from being whole.

Alexandra Myotte
Alexandra Myotte is a Quebec-based director. She began her career making music videos, before turning her hand to producing animated short films. She now forms a directing duo with Jean-Sébastien Hamel; their combined talents have enabled them to win several international awards. Their latest short film, Un trou dans la poitrine, has been shortlisted for the 2025 Oscars.
Jean-Sébastien Hamel
Jean-Sébastien Hamel is a Montreal-based screenwriter and director. He began his career as an editor and now works in partnership with Alexandra Myotte. Together, they have created a series of dark animated short films, with unique narratives and aesthetics, which have been screened at numerous international festivals. Their film No Title (2021) was nominated in the Best Animated Short Film category at the 2022 IRIS Awards and has won numerous awards, including Best Canadian Short Film at the 2021 EIFF.
