Critic's Jury

In collaboration with the Syndicat français de la critique de cinéma, a jury composed of 3 critics is renewed this year. The deliberation will take place in front of an audience on Friday, September 9, at 5:30 pm, in the cinema as an introduction to the closing night. You are all invited to discover, in real time, the winner of the French Film Critics’ Award of this 23rd edition.

Esther Brejon

Journalist

Esther Brejon is a cultural journalist, she writes for Revus & Corrigés, Sorociné, Rockyrama and Raymond. In her podcast “Silence, elles tournet”, she discusses the life and work of women in cinema with her guests.

Corentin Destefanis Dupin

Journalist

A graduate of the Ecole Supérieure d’Etudes Cographiques (ESEC), Corentin Destefanis Dupin has been collaborating since 2016 with Zone Critique, of which he has been the cinema chief editor since 2020, both for the website and for the annual review that accompanies it. In March 2020, he joined the cinema department of Transfuge magazine. In 2021, he was a finalist for the Young Critics Prize of the Syndicat Français de la critique de cinéma.

Gauthier Jurgensen

Journalist

Cinephile since childhood, Gauthier Jurgensen studied cinema at the Sorbonne-Nouvelle. In 2008, he published “J’ai grandi dans des salles obscures” with JC Lattès editions. Two years later, he became a film journalist, after starting his career in video editing. He successively joined the editorial staff of Canal Académie, Avoir-alire.com, Allociné and Satellifacts.
