Synopsis
In an apartment during the night, a cockroach wanders around. Suddenly, the front door opens, revealing a drunken woman. Curious, it follows her and witnesses an argument that take an unexpected turn.

Anna Cheng Clavel
Telling stories has always been a part of who I am, and drawing is the best way I do it. Before I even learned how to write, I used to draw illustrated books and tell my mom what to write in them. I hesitated to become a novelist, but then finally chose the path of drawing studies at Emile Cohl school, in France. The Cinema and Animation Master gave me the opportunity to write and direct my own film called CAFARD(s), which translates to COCKROACH(es) in French. With this comic and dramatic short film, I hope to catch the audience’s attention with the dialogues and surprise them with an absurd ending. This project also confirms my wish to build a career in storyboard and 2D animation.
