Synopsis
After a cinema screening, two young lovers are about to share their first kiss. In that moment, reality shifts into a musical world, where the euphoria of this magical instant gives wings to the young couple.

Alexis Cuzon
I have always seen cinema as a gateway to other worlds, a way of transforming everyday life into a sensory and emotional adventure. My name is Alexis Cuzon, a French screenwriter and director with a passion for immersive worlds where reality gives way to the extraordinary. My first short film, my graduation project, Valitchka, received around ten festival nominations and several awards. I then went on to direct numerous music videos for French artists whilst working as an assistant director on feature films and television series. My latest film, First Kiss, a musical romance exploring love as a supernatural force, was selected as one of the 50 finalists in the official selection of the 2025 Nikon Film Festival, was also included in the Sens Critique selection, and came fourth in the audience vote. Its extended version begins its festival run today, having already secured several international nominations. Through my films, I am developing a visual, musical and emotional style of filmmaking, with the ambition of directing my first feature film in the near future.
