16 out of 1,534! Just like every year, there was a 99% chance of not making it into the France competition at Trouville! It’s heartbreaking not to be able to include all the films we enjoyed in the competition. Once again, we’ve sought to present a range that showcases the diversity short films offer—films that are creative, entertaining, and thought-provoking.
We also never cease to be surprised by the number of debut films we received!
Even as the world seems to grow a little more chaotic every day, it’s heartening to see so many young people striving to take us on journeys, inspire us to dream, make us think, and share emotions with us… Enjoy the films, everyone!
