Raïssa T’keba Kafechina

Raïssa T’keba Kafechina is a Togolese filmmaker and screenwriter based in Lomé. Trained in film and audiovisual media, she creates intimate films centered on family dynamics, emotional silences, and deep human conflicts. She directed her first short film, Ma’gna, in 2022 as part of the Off-Court section at the Émergence Festival. She has also participated in several productions as a camera assistant and artistic collaborator. In 2025, she directed À toi l’honneur, a short film that won the Best National Fiction Film Award at the Togo International Film Festival. This film reaffirmed her interest in stories rooted in social realities, driven by sensitive and immersive storytelling. Today, Raïssa continues her journey as an emerging filmmaker, with the ambition of bringing powerful stories to the international stage.
