Petit bricoleur
Synopsis
Yasr, a fifteen-year-old boy who is a student and has a physical deformity in his right foot, creates small masterpieces (scale models of houses and cars equipped with dynamos, handbags, …) Despite the lack of a host family in Sokodé—the city where he would like to pursue technical studies—and the lack of funds to pay for tuition, he hopes to become an architect in the future. But can his parents’ financial situation help him achieve his dream?

About
Yassira Dermane Adam
Born on December 18 in Bafilo, in the Assoli Prefecture of Togo, Yassira Dermane Adam is a senior at the University of Kara, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in tourism and intercultural communication; she completed her elementary and secondary education in her hometown. Driven by her passion, she participated in a filmmaking workshop in Sokodé during the Tchaoudjo Film Festival organized by Kezembia TV in October 2021, and then in December 2021 with the Gatti Film group on a project to train young women in film-related professions. where she worked as an assistant director and set designer on the film The Will. During the training workshop organized by CNA Togo, she worked on the documentary film Petit bricoleur as a director.
