Ménézé (ma grand-mère)
Synopsis
Ménézé, a woman in her twenties, has been having dreams for the past few days in which her grandmother is drowning in a river, calling out to her for help. When Ménézé expresses her wish to visit her grandmother in the village, her parents flatly refuse, having severed all ties with the grandmother, whom they accuse of witchcraft. Ménézé runs away and goes to her hometown, where she discovers that her grandmother has been missing from the village for several days, with no one seeming to care. Setting out to search for her grandmother, Ménézé finds her body. She sets out to give her a proper burial.
